Mahonia ‘Charity’ is a rather exotic looking shrub with a fanning habit but on a horizontal plane, almost stacking with each layer of foliage. It produces long flower spikes that are coloured a contrasting bright yellow against the dark green spined foliage. These make an appearance during the winter from as early as november through to febuary in late examples and come with a light and delicate fragrance. If not kept in check, it can quickly reach and exceed 3m in height and width so regular maintenance to keep it the size desired will be needed.

The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
