Osmanthus ‘Burkwoodii’ is a versatile plant that is most often seen as either a specimen plant, grown on its own in a center stage position or alternatively can be used as a dense hedging plant although it is relatively slow growing.
Its small leaves are dark and intriguing and contrasts wonderfully with the small white flowers it bares during the spring. As an added bonus, these flowers are wonderfully fragrant with a honey-like scent.
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions.
