Sambucus nigra ‘Black Lace’ (sometimes known as ‘eva’) is a deciduous shrub with fantastic dark puple foliage that is often so dark that it can be mistaken for being black. During the summer it produced umbels of very small light pink flowers that are distinctly aromatic.

The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
